The GE Datex Ohmeda Tec 7 Isoflurane Anesthesia Vaporizer delivers isoflurane efficiently and effectively. Each Tec 7 agent includes significant performance, convenience, and ergonomic benefits, as well as important safety features to help improve agent delivery and reliability while reducing overall operating costs. This vaporizer provides output consistency with dial adjustment throughout the clinical flow rate range.
The Easy-Fil filler is designed to simplify agent filling and help minimize agent leakage during filling.
Large diameter control dial incorporates fine graduations of 0.2% between 0 and 1% and 0.5% from 1 to 8%.
The Tec 7 vaporizers ergonomic dial release allows for left- or right-hand operation.

Calibration: Dials on Tec 7 vaporizers for enflurane, isoflurane, and halothane are calibrated at 5% v/v in 0.2% steps up to 1% and in 0.5% steps from 1% to 5% at 21°C using O2 at 5 L/min as the carrier gas.
Sevoflurane Calibration
The Tec 7 Vaporizer dial for sevoflurane is calibrated to 8% v/v
The dial is marked in 0.2% steps up to 1% v/v, and in 1% steps between 1% and 8%
Gas flow resistance
ON: 5 L/min O2: 10 to 15 cm H2O at 21°C ± 2°C
Accuracy
5 L/min O2 at 21°C ± 2°C:
5% Vaporizer: ± 0.25% of delivered agent or ± 15% of dial setting (whichever is greater)
8% Vaporizer: ± 0.4% of delivered agent or ± 15% of dial setting (whichever is greater)
Flow Rate: Vaporizers are designed to provide a constant output throughout the clinical flow range of 200 mL/ min to 15 L/min.
