GOBY is a modular, battery-powered system built around a small Hub (about 19 × 15 × 22 cm, ~2 kg) that acts as the wireless urodynamics processor, precision infusion pump, and charging base for the roaming catheter interface.
A wireless Roam unit worn on a belt or lanyard records up to 4 pressure channels plus 1 EMG channel, while the Urocap IV wireless uroflowmeter measures flow and volume discreetly, sending data via Bluetooth to a laptop running Laborie’s urodynamics software.

Full urodynamic capability: Supports uroflowmetry, filling cystometry (CMG), pressure–flow studies, urethral pressure profiles (UPP), stress tests, leak point pressures, ambulatory UDS, and even anorectal manometry (ARM) on appropriate configurations (e.g., Goby IV, Goby EQ).
Wireless, portable design: Battery-powered Hub, Roam, and Urocap communicate wirelessly, allowing patients to move naturally so that leakage and symptoms closely mimic real‑life conditions; the complete system can be transported in a carry bag or mounted on a tabletop or IV pole.
Catheter and sensor flexibility: Works with air‑charged (T‑Doc), fluid‑filled, and electronic pressure catheters, plus snap or lead‑wire EMG electrodes; Roam supports up to 4 pressure transducers and 1 EMG channel with sampling up to about 1,000 Hz for EMG.
Advanced software & connectivity: Laborie UDS software offers customizable procedures and reports, real‑time or accelerated playback for review/teaching, hot keys and voice annotations, and integration via HL7 and EMR connectors (i‑LIST) to streamline data management and reporting.
Clinic-focused ergonomics: Designed for single‑patient consumables to reduce cross‑infection risk, with optional accessories such as printer, UPP puller, infusion weight transducer, commode or PVC chair, flowmeter stand, straps, and lanyards to adapt to different clinic workflows and spaces.
