New OLYMPUS Sof-Curl SSC6028

The Olympus Sof-Curl™ ureteral stent (#SSC6028) is a dual-durometer, hydrophilic-coated stent designed for temporary internal drainage from the ureteropelvic junction to the bladder. It features a patented kidney curl for ease of placement and less traumatic removal, as well as a soft bladder helix to enhance patient comfort and minimize trigone irritation. Constructed from advanced Tecoflex®, the stent is firm during placement for easy passage and softens at body temperature for improved comfort. The spiral drainage hole design resists kinking and buckling, ensuring reliable urine flow. The stent is radiopaque for clear visualization under fluoroscopy or X-ray and is supplied with an attached braided nylon tether and a RAMROD™ metal tip push catheter for safe and accurate placement.
