New OLYMPUS Sof-Curl SSC4524

The Olympus Sof-Curl™ ureteral stent (#SSC4524) is a sterile, single-use stent designed for temporary internal drainage from the ureteropelvic junction to the bladder. With a 4.5 French (Fr) diameter and 24 cm length, this stent features a patented kidney curl for easier placement and less traumatic removal, as well as a soft bladder helix to minimize trigone irritation and enhance patient comfort. Constructed from advanced Tecoflex®, the stent is firm during placement for easy passage and softens at body temperature for improved comfort. Its hydrophilic coating provides an ultra-slippery surface for smooth insertion and removal, while the spiral drainage hole design resists kinking and ensures reliable urine flow. The stent is radiopaque for clear visualization under fluoroscopy or X-ray and is supplied with an attached braided nylon tether and a RAMROD™ metal tip push catheter for safe and accurate placement.
