The Gyrus ACMI Double Pigtail Ureteral Stent (#5607030) is a sterile, single-use stent designed for temporary internal drainage from the ureteropelvic junction to the bladder. This stent features a classic double pigtail (curled) design at both ends to secure placement and minimize the risk of migration. Constructed from Tecoflex®, the stent is firm during placement for ease of insertion and softens at body temperature to enhance patient comfort. The hydrophilic coating provides an ultra-slippery surface for smooth insertion and removal. The stent is radiopaque for clear visualization under fluoroscopy or X-ray and includes a spiral drainage hole design to resist kinking and buckling, ensuring reliable urine flow.
