The Gyrus ACMI Double Pigtail Ureteral Stent (#5607026) is a sterile, single-use stent designed for temporary internal drainage from the ureteropelvic junction to the bladder. This stent features a classic double pigtail (curled) design at both ends to secure placement and minimize migration risk. Constructed from single durometer Tecoflex®, the stent is firm during placement but softens at body temperature to enhance patient comfort. The hydrophilic coating provides an ultra-slippery surface for smooth insertion and removal, even in challenging anatomy. The stent is radiopaque for clear visualization under fluoroscopy or X-ray and includes spiral drainage holes to resist kinking and ensure reliable urine flow. Each stent is supplied with a RAMROD™ push catheter for safe and accurate placement.
