The Gyrus ACMI Double Pigtail Ureteral Stent (#5606024) is a sterile, single-use stent designed for temporary internal drainage from the ureteropelvic junction to the bladder. It features a balanced-curled double pigtail design at both ends to minimize migration and ensure secure placement. Constructed from single durometer Tecoflex®, the stent is firm during placement for easy passage and softens at body temperature for enhanced patient comfort. The hydrophilic coating on both the inside and outside surfaces provides ultra-slippery properties for smooth insertion and removal, even through challenging anatomy. The stent is radiopaque for visualization under fluoroscopy or X-ray and includes spiral drainage holes to resist kinking and ensure reliable urine flow.
