The Gyrus ACMI Lubri-Flex Double Pigtail Ureteral Stent (#5557028) is a sterile, single-use stent designed for temporary internal drainage from the ureteropelvic junction to the bladder. It features a double pigtail (curled) design at both ends, which helps anchor the stent securely and minimize migration and trigone irritation. Constructed from Tecoflex®, the stent is firm during placement for easy passage and softens at body temperature for enhanced patient comfort. The hydrophilic Lubri-Flex coating provides an ultra-slippery surface, facilitating smooth insertion and removal. The stent is radiopaque for visualization under fluoroscopy or X-ray and includes a spiral drainage hole design to resist kinking and buckling.
