New ETHICON PDS II Z338H

The Ethicon PDSII Z338H is an absorbable, sterile, synthetic monofilament surgical suture made from polydioxanone. It features a violet color for enhanced visibility during suturing and is supplied with a CT-1 taper point needle (36 mm, ½ circle). The suture is 3-0 in size and measures 27 inches (70 cm) in length. PDSII sutures are designed to provide extended wound support for up to 6 weeks and are commonly used for soft tissue approximation, including pediatric cardiovascular and ophthalmic procedures, but are not indicated for adult cardiovascular or neurological tissues.
