PLASMATEC is a medical device for outpatient treatment of skin surface blemishes using Plasma, the forth state of matter.
HOW IT WORKS
Plasmatec uses the ionization of gases contained in the air. The treated tissues undergo a process of sublimation, passing from a solid state to a gaseous one, without transferring unnecessary amounts of heat to subcutaneous and surrounding areas.
Plasma energy generated by the ionization selectively sublimates the superficial tissues (max 500-600 microns) with minimal pain and without affecting the deeper layers, which can trigger side effects such as hypertrophic scars etc.
