The Roche LightCycler 480 II is a powerful qPCR system for highly parallel real-time PCR applications. This design with 384-well silver block enables particularly high sample capacity with maximum precision, efficiency and reproducibility - ideal for gene expression analysis, genotyping, SNP detection as well as pathogen detection.
The thermally highly conductive silver block ensures exceptionally fast temperature changes and a homogeneous temperature distribution across all wells. In combination with the highly sensitive optical detection system, the LightCycler 480 II delivers exact quantitative results - even at low target concentrations.
The modular system is compatible with various fluorescence-based detection methods (such as SYBR Green, hydrolysis probes, HybProbes) and offers flexible multiplexing options. The intuitive LightCycler 480 software enables convenient test design, data acquisition and evaluation according to GLP/GMP standards.
