Mini cycler for inducing PCR reactions (DNA chain duplication method). Power supply currently 230VAC (power supply selectable 230/115/100VAC). English language (also selectable German). Electronics start up correctly. Internal fan operational. Maintenance. Confirmed operation of unit according to programme: heats bottom base and top cover, displays process flow. Power cable missing, manual missing (we have an electronic version in English on site).
Note: Before testing the appliance, various partial bushes appeared on the display, moreover the appliance automatically changed the language from English to German. English was set. This behaviour was not observed during subsequent tests. This may have been caused by bad contacts on the socketed ICs.
