Auscultatory-Referenced Blood Pressure Measurement

• Uses GE’s DINAMAP technology with an auscultatory reference standard for more accurate non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) readings compared to basic oscillometric systems. This means the algorithm is calibrated against the traditional auscultatory method (cuff stethoscope), rather than only oscillometric signals.

• Provides systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial pressures plus pulse rate.

Performance & Accuracy

• Designed to meet clinical standards (ANSI/AAMI SP-10), with typical error mean ≤ ~5 mmHg and standard deviation ≤ 8 mmHg.

• Cuff pressure ranges suitable for adult, pediatric and (in some models) neonatal patients (e.g., up to 290 mmHg for adults, ~140 mmHg for neonates).

• Option to set initial inflation pressures to optimize comfort and accuracy for individual patients.
