The GE Wave Biotech STF-IRc is an innovative, high-precision device for sterile welding of thermoplastic hose assemblies in biopharmaceutical processes. Designed for use in disposable bioreactor systems, sterile transfer lines, media preparation and filling applications, the device allows quick and safe connection of hoses without risk of contamination.
Thanks to the contact-free IR (infrared) technology, the hose is thermally welded within a very short time, without particle formation or residue. The process is fully validable and GMP compliant. The device is suitable for a variety of hose sizes and materials (e.g., C-Flex®, PharMed®, TPE) and therefore particularly flexible in application.
The STF-IRc offers a simple user interface, fast cycle times and reproducible results - ideal for demanding sterile production environments in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
