New ZEISS OPMI Pro Magis

The ZEISS OPMI PRO MAGIS microscope is a high-precision, easy-to-use instrument that finds application in all fields where magnified vision at very high definition is required.

Medical area (Surgery and Microsurgery, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery, etc.).

Technical area (Horology and Goldsmithing, Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics, Precision micromechanics, Model making, etc.).

The movement of the head is in the 5 axes of space with separate adjustment of the clutches: the movements are smooth and light until, with the release of the special button, electromagnetic brakes lock it rigidly and immovably, a fundamental condition for correct vision. The range of rotation is 310°.

The binocular tubes have a wide-angle focal length of f = 170.

Zooming and focusing are motorized through controls located on the movement arms, and foot controls are not necessary, making the operating area freer. Alternatively, a foot pedal or hand control panel is applicable for the above functions.

Lighting, which is halogen, is provided by a powerful lamp (12V 100W) located in the stand's lamp holder aedicule where an additional quick-change spare lamp with bayonet coupling is located.

The light beam is conveyed by a fiber optic system coaxially to the operator's vision preventing any shadow formation. The diameter of the field of view is continuously adjusted from a diameter of mm. 55 to a spot of mm 11 with doubling of the luminance value.

The high power of the lamp allows the use of very narrow diaphragms for the benefit of the depth of focus of the working area (depth of field).

The following optional accessories are supplied:

- 2 focal length lenses f = 200 and f = 250 that vary the size of the field of view

- Beam Splitter (interface for documentation and co-observation devices) for photo/video recordings or second operator

- Angled lens with ‘C’ mount for camcorder

- Panasonic Digital 3 CCD video camera

- Zeiss S151 ceiling stand

This microscope has been used very few hours and is in like-new condition. It can find application on ceiling, wall, countertop or floor using suitable stand (not supplied).

Delivery and assembly to the customer's home can be arranged.
