Description

New Olympus single port tube lens, 180mm focal length.

Description Product family

  • Empty filter cubes and pre-assembled cubes with fluorescent filters available.
  • Wide-angle tube lens and single-port tube lens.
  • Weakly fluorescent immersion oil for objectives with large NA.
  • C-mount and T-mount adapters as well as camera couplers for system integration.

Olympus tube lenses and accessories are specially designed for use with Olympus brand microscopes or lenses.

The empty filter cube is suitable for 25 mm diameter excitation and emission filters and 25.2 x 35.6 mm dichroic filters and is used for custom fluorescence setups. Filter cube #86-832 is compatible with the Olympus BX2 (BX61/51/41) and IX2 (IX81/71/51) microscope series. Filter cube #86-833 is compatible with the Olympus BX3 (BX63/53/43) and IX3 (IX83/73/53) microscope series. The pre-assembled fluorescence filter cubes use cube #86-833 and are available for various standard fluorophores.

The Olympus tube lenses have a focal length of 180 mm. The Olympus wide-angle tube lens (#36-401) offers a large image circle with a diameter of 26.5 mm and can be easily integrated into T-mount systems using the #11-149* (Olympus wide-angle tube lens on T-mount). The Olympus single-port tube lens (#86-835) has a smaller image circle with a diameter of 22 mm and was designed for easy integration into microscope observation tubes for video recording. A C-mount video microscope can be constructed using the tube lens #86-835, the Olympus C-mount adapter #89-606, and the Olympus 1X camera coupler #89-605.

Olympus's weakly fluorescent immersion oil (#86-834) is designed for use with oil immersion objectives to achieve high numerical apertures. The immersion oil is specifically formulated to reduce the autofluorescence typical of oil, making it an ideal choice for fluorescence microscopy.

A notice:

Please note: The four Allen screws must be removed to insert the #36-401 Olympus wide angle tube lens into the #11-149 (Olympus wide angle tube lens on T-mount).
