The BIO-RAD PX1 PCR Plate Sealer, manufactured in 2020, is a versatile, small-footprint heat sealer ideal for laboratory environments. It is used to melt sealing film or foil to the rims of PCR plate wells, providing consistent and uniform sealing to minimize sample evaporation during PCR, qPCR, or ddPCR applications. The intuitive touch screen and fast, consistent sealing make it suitable for low-volume samples and qPCR experiments. The instrument has been tested to specifications and carries a 30-Day Warranty On Part. Software not included. Typical applications include PCR, qPCR, ddPCR, and classroom laboratory use. Instrument has been tested to specifications. Has slight cosmetic blemishes from regular use.
