Contact Lens Measurement
Contact lenses can be measured in the same way as single vision lenses by attaching the contact lens nosepiece.
ABBE Number
The LM-50 automatically compensates the measured values when a different ABBE number is selected, resulting in more accurate measurement results. The selectable numbers range from 30 to 60, in increments of 5, for a total of 7 settings.
Real-Time Prism Power Measurement
Prism power is read at an arbitrary point and displayed in two forms: rectangular (BU/BD, BI/BO) and polar (Δ/deg.) coordinates.
Automatic Progressive Lens Detection
The LM-50s auto-detection function detects progressive lenses when a lens is placed on the nose. As soon as the device detects a progressive lens, it automatically switches to progressive lens measurement mode, eliminating tedious manual operations. No more errors in lens type detection.
Good visibility thanks to the large backlit LCD display
Thanks to the use of a large LCD display, the measured values are easy to read. In addition, the display is backlit, which provides excellent visibility even in a dimly lit room. The measurement results of the left and right lenses are temporarily stored and then displayed sequentially when the READ button is pressed.
