The Leybold Sogevac SV 120 BIFC vacuum pump is a single-stage oil-sealed rotary vane pump designed for pumping inert gases in the range of rough vacuum, between atmospheric pressure and ultimate pressure of the pump. It is featured with various components including a gas ballast valve, anti suckback valve, and a frequency converter, giving it a constant pumping speed. It is capable of reducing the pump speed to 900 rpm (idle mode) to reduce power consumption without loss of end pressure on some pump variants.
