The Thermo Scientific HERAcell VIOS 160i is a state-of-the-art CO₂ incubator specifically designed for demanding cell culture applications. With a 100% pure copper interior, it provides a natural antimicrobial environment that minimizes the risk of contamination, creating ideal conditions for sensitive cell lines, stem cells and tissue cultures.
Thanks to THRIVE™ Active Airflow technology, an even distribution of temperature, CO₂ and humidity is ensured throughout the interior. This leads to fast recovery times after door openings and stable culture conditions. Integrated HEPA filtration ensures that the air in the incubator is completely filtered every 60 seconds, achieving ISO 5 class cleanroom quality.
The Steri-Run™ high-temperature sterilization cycle enables simple and effective decontamination of the interior at 180 °C without the need to remove components. The intuitive iCAN™ touchscreen control provides a user-friendly interface with comprehensive monitoring and control functions.
