The Beckman L8-80MR Ultracentrifuge is an advanced piece of equipment designed to simplify and automate operation. Manufactured by Beckman, this model is equipped with a number of features that meet the demands of high volume laboratories and facilities. The unit is capable of running more than 40 different rotors, performing up to 80,000 rpm, and achieving up to 602,000g. It features rotor imbalance detection, microprocessor-based centrifuge profiles, memory-pac storage for repeat programs, and a vacuum-encased induction for reliable operation. However, it is important to note that the unit is SOLD AS/IS. The freezer is not functional, the rotor can spin up but gets a DSK 1 Overspeed Disk Error, and there is damage to the side of the centrifuge drum.
