Description:
The Thermo Dionex BorateTrap (item no. 047078) is a specialized 50 mm long inline trap column designed to remove borate contaminants from the sample flow upstream of the analytical separation column. This greatly increases the lifetime and performance of the analytical IC columns – especially for sensitive separations of anions such as phosphate or organic acids.
The BorateTrap is installed upstream in an IC system and selectively adsorbs boric acid and borate from the eluent or sample, avoiding interference and background signals.
