The Alaris GH syringe pump (hereinafter referred to as the syringe pump) is a high-quality device designed for routine infusions, including those performed in critical care settings. Intended use: The syringe pump is designed to meet the infusion requirements within the operating environment described in this instruction manual, including general wards, intensive care and resuscitation units, operating rooms, and emergency departments. This syringe pump can be used by trained physicians and nurses. The syringe pump allows for the intravenous injection of fluids and medications. It is suitable for administering liquid therapies, blood transfusions, and parenteral nutrition. The Asena® brand has recently been rebranded as Alaris®. This name change has no impact on the intended use or functionality of the product. Single-use products recommended for use with this syringe pump include Asena® and Alaris®, both of which are compatible with this pump. The Alaris® GH syringe pump is compatible with a wide range of single-use Luer-lock syringes of various brands and sizes. Syringe sizes range from 5 to 50 ml.
