BioMerieux VIDAS is a fully automated chemical analyzer, which offers flexible and convenient operation with STAT capability, multiparametric testing, single sample testing, and batch testing (up to 100 tests/2 hr.) Bio Merieux VIDAS test menu includes tumor markers, thyroid hormones, therapeutic drug monitoring, serology, infectious disease, reproductive hormones, and coagulation. The Bio Merieux VIDAS instrument is best known for its simplicity and functionality and provides results for serology and immunochemistry assays in 20 to 60 minutes. At the same time, the antigen assay results can be obtained in 30 to 150 minutes. Further, the analyzer is featured with five independent testing areas with 6 positions, a laboratory information system (LIS) and barcode patient demographic interface capabilities, calibration every 14 days, automated barcode identification, single-dose, ready-to-use reagents, and so on.
