The Agilent 1260 Infinity Binary Pump is based on a series two-channel, two-piston design that incorporates all the essential functions a solvent delivery system must perform. Agilent's G1312A is designed for the highest performance and high-pressure mixing. The 1200 Series binary pump consists of two identical pumps integrated into one housing and provides gradient generation through high-pressure mixing.

Solvent metering and delivery to the high-pressure side are handled by the two pump assemblies, which can generate pressures up to 400 bar. Each pump assembly includes a pump drive, a pump head, an active inlet valve with a replaceable cartridge, and an outlet valve.
