The K-4500 provides accurate screening for patients whose hematological abnormalities indicate the need for further testing. Additionally, the analyzer can contribute in the diagnosis and therapeutic monitoring of patients. The Sysmex K-4500 Hematology Analyzer has 18 parameter test results plus three histograms, three part WBC differential, high performance of 80 samples per hour, and a reliable direct current detection method. Furthermore, the system features a cap piercing sampler and microprocessor programs to achieve efficient walk-away automation. Equipped with its bar coding facility, the Sysmex K-4500 analyzer enhances system efficiency. The system is also fitted with an auto sampler unit for processing a large volume of samples. The Sysmex automated hematology analyzer offers two types of QC: individual QC, which is performed on individual samples, and statistical QC which uses statistical method. Moreover, the system allows for various system settings to suit the needs of every laboratory and criteria for flagging abnormal values obtained.
