The Abbott CELL-DYN 1700 Hematology Analyzer generates the following measurements on Tri-pottasium EDTA (K3 EDTA) anticoagulant whole blood. WBC, RBC, HGB, PLT, LYM, %LYM, GRAN, %GRAN, MID, %MID, MCV, HCT, MCH, MCHC, RDW, MPV, PCT, PDW. Applications of the CELL-DYN 1700 analyzer include two-dimensional laser platelet and red cell analysis, 3-D MCV measurement ensures accurate RBC analysis, Single-step dilution reticulocyte procedure, and five-part leukocyte differential. Other system attributes include a single-tube closed sampler with bar-code reader and resistant RBC mode which lessens interference.
