Description:
The Medax SP14 is a compact and powerful heating plate, specially designed for use in histology for smoothing paraffin sections during sample preparation. The so-called stretching table ensures efficient and wrinkle-free spreading of the tissue sections on the slides by uniform heat distribution.
The heating surface is made of scratch-resistant aluminium with a black, heat-resistant coating for optimal visibility of the cuts. The temperature is infinitely variable and can be adjusted exactly to the respective requirements. An integrated temperature controller with digital display allows easy and precise control of the heating performance.
Thanks to its compact design, the SP14 is ideal for use in confined spaces in laboratories or directly next to the microtome.
