Description:
The Medax SP12 paraffin stretch table is a high-quality heating plate that has been specially developed for the requirements of histological sample preparation. It is used for smoothing and fixing tissue sections during the embedding process, and enables fast and efficient work due to its uniform and stable temperature distribution.
The black, scratch-resistant aluminium heating surface improves contrast for optimal visibility of fine cuts. The temperature can be precisely adjusted and is displayed via an integrated digital controller. This allows tissue sections to be spread out reliably on the slide and smoothed - without overheating or dehydration.
With its compact design, the SP12 is ideal for use directly at the workplace, such as next to microtomes or water baths.
