Description
The system includes: an Agilent 5973 Inert MSD with Performance Turbo Pump G2579A/G1779A, an Agilent 6890 GC. An autosampler is also available as an option. Furthermore, a coarse pump and a PC with ChemStation. The features of the 5973 MSD are: a mass range between 1.6 and 800 amu in 0.1 amu increments. The scan speed is a maximum of 5200 amu/second with 0.1 amu resolution. The sensitivity is typically adjusted so that 1pg octafluoronaphthalene provides a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 20:1 with a scan mass range of 50-300 amu. SIM mode can monitor up to 30 masses simultaneously, up to 50 groups of 30 masses. The HP 6890 is designed to replace its older version, the HP 5890. The HP 6890 Series Gas Chromatograph System delivers high levels of performance. HP 6890 Series GC features include electronic pneumatic control of all gas pressures and flows. Onboard sensors automatically compensate for temperature changes and barometric pressure differences to achieve consistently more accurate and reproducible results. Producing stable results reduces the need for EPC to recalibrate and improves laboratory productivity. The refurbished Agilent 5973 Inert Mass Selective Detector and Agilent 6890 GC are in very good condition. Network versions (5973N, 6890N) are available. Labprocure is responsible for this device.
