The Ulthera system is indicated for use as a non-invasive dermatologic aesthetic treatment for:
Brow lift,
Elevating loose tissue in the chin (under the chin) and neck,
Reducing lines and wrinkles of the décolletage,
Integrates ultrasound imaging capabilities with ultrasound therapy capabilities. The imaging function allows the operator to visualize the skin and subcutaneous areas of interest prior to treatment. It also allows the operator to ensure adequate skin contact to deliver energy to the desired depths. The therapy function directs acoustic waves to the treatment area. This acoustic energy heats the tissue through rubbing losses during energy absorption, creating discrete points of coagulation,
