The Smarty Series is A.M.I. Italy's new line of defibrillators. It can be easily used by anyone in the medical field (e.g., ambulance, emergency room, etc.) and also in the non-medical field (e.g., public or private places)
The Semi-automatic model, after checking the patient's ECG, if a shockable rhythm is detected, automatically starts charging the energy needed for the discharge. Once ready, the operator is alerted by visual and voice message to press the shock button to defibrillate.
The resuscitation phase is, then, initiated with the voice message and metronome.
The Automatic model, once ready for shock, will automatically provide the defibrillation shock after 5 seconds as per the voice prompt
