The ACL Advance is a PC-based random access blood coagulation
instrument designed for high throughput blood analysis. For this
project, the Instrumentation Laboratory team challenged PI to
simplify user access, improve the safety of the product and improve the ability and ease of servicing the device. The design had to be compact, easy to assemble and aesthetically distinctive. The final product is able to load and hold 264 cuvettes/120 samples making it a flexible, time saving solution for varying workloads. In addition it features walk-away and automatic rerun capabilities.
