To ensure the most accurate and consistent shades of grey, EIZO takes accurate measurements on the production line and sets all shades of grey to ensure that every monitor produced complies with the DICOM Part 14 standard

At start-up or when resuming the MX215 monitor, EIZO's patented drift correction function quickly stabilises the brightness level. In addition, a sensor measures backlight brightness and compensates for fluctuations caused by ambient temperature and the passage of time

Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function ensures optimal and uniform backlight brightness, which is usually difficult to achieve due to the characteristics of LCD monitors

The CAL button on the front panel, allows the selection of different display modes, for different types of images, such as CR, CT and endoscopic images

The presence sensor function combines convenience with economy. With it, the monitor saves energy when it is not in use. The presence sensor switches the monitor into energy-saving mode when it detects that the user has walked away from the monitor, and then restores normal operation when the user returns
