FEATURES:
It is a portable thermostabilizer (cooling/heating unit) designed for storing and transporting pre-cooled blood and medicinal products over long periods.
Cooling/heating is achieved via thermoelectric/Peltier technology (solid-state, no moving compressor parts).
It operates on a wide range of power supply: AC (110/220 V, 50/60 Hz) and various DC voltages (12/24/28 V) — making it suitable for mobile/field use.
Maintains a preset internal temperature between approximately 1 °C to 10 °C, depending on configuration.
Can maintain temperature without external power (i.e., during transport) for up to 10 hours at ambient ~ 32 °C.
Ambient operating range: from about –32 °C up to 44 °C and maintain internal set-temperature.
Storage capacity: Internal volume approx 43 L; example capacity: up to 30 whole-blood bags (500 ml each) or 50 packed red blood cell units of 270 ml each.
External dimensions (approx): H x W x D = 500 × 840 × 550 mm; internal: 240 × 495 × 335 mm. Net weight ~29 kg.
Insulation: Polyurethane (CFC/HCFC-free) with insulation thickness ~110 mm.
Materials: Outer and inner shell made of polyethylene (PE).
Alarm system: There is an audible and visual alarm (both AC/DC) to signal deviation or power-failure.
Special features: Because of interference suppression, it is operable in aircraft environments.
Controls: The repair & maintenance manual shows there are switches to set minimum and maximum temperature thresholds (via switch bank S101) for the electronic control board.
