CoughAssist T70 is an automated insufflation to exsufflation device designed to precisely clear secretions from the lungs by emulating a natural cough. Like a good deep breath, CoughAssist applies positive air pressure (insufflation) to sustain a large air volume within the patient's lungs. The device then reverses the airflow by shifting to negative air pressure (exsufflation). The result is a high expiratory flow from the combined air pressures, taking the build-up in your lungs and producing a cough to help curb bronchial secretions.
