This bioreactor originates from the insolvency of a Cologne-based white biotech company. The xCUBIO twin is a state-of-the-art bioreactor and fermenter designed for space- and resource-efficient parallel operation in two vessels with a single automation system. This innovative solution allows experiments to be conducted in steps while maintaining perfect aseptic conditions for both vessels. With the option of choosing different vessel geometries or equipment, comparative tests of two different approaches can be conducted simultaneously.
