Description:
The bioMérieux Astute 140 is a compact and efficient microbiology system for semi-automated preparation of cultures for antimicrobial sensitivity testing (AST). The device is ideal for clinical laboratories that require standardized and reproducible results for antibiotic resistance testing.
The system simplifies the production of standardized bacterial suspensions and reduces manual work steps as well as sources of errors. The suspensions produced by the Astute 140 can be used directly for inoculation of VITEK®-2 cards or other microbiological test systems.
