Thopaz sets new standards in chest drainage therapy. This compact system provides vacuum regulation very close to the patient's chest, based on the amount of air leakage. Safety in the use of the Thopaz is ensured by alarms that alert hospital staff and call for quick intervention if an abnormality is detected. Thopaz continuously monitors and regulates negative pressure near the patient's chest, solving common problems experienced with unregulated drainage systems such as siphon formation, clogged or kinked drains. It is also possible to place the Thopaz at the patient's chest level.
