Description

VENTILATION IN HARMONY WITH THE PATIENT
Sensitive, precise synchronization and continuous adaptation functions combine to provide the necessary ventilatory support, enable access to optimal spontaneous ventilation levels, facilitate the weaning process and protect the patient from serious side effects such as volotrauma or atelectasis.
INSPIRATORY SUPPORT – THE STANDARD FOR NEWBORNS
Pressure support (PS) provides automatic leak compensation and gives the child better control of his or her breathing cycle by synchronizing inspiration and expiration. Continuous and automatic leak compensation ensures optimal inspiratory times.
VOLUME GUARANTEE
The Volume Guarantee (VG) feature combines the advantages of pressure-controlled ventilation with those of volume-controlled ventilation. The preset tidal volume is maintained constant, regardless of spontaneous ventilation or changing lung conditions. The guaranteed volume ensures sufficient ventilation while avoiding the risk of volotrauma.
BABYFLOW NASAL CPAP
The Babylog® 8000 plus combines all the benefits of non-invasive ventilation with an easy-to-use nasal CPAP system designed specifically for smaller patients. The unique mask design provides stable, atraumatic CPAP ventilation.
HIGH FREQUENCY VENTILATION*
The Dräger Babylog® 8000 plus features a one-touch High Frequency Ventilation (HFV) option that can be used in conjunction with CPAP or VC modes. The ventilator accurately measures even the smallest tidal volumes, allowing you to fine-tune your therapy to your patients’ needs (*not available in the US).
SIMPLE OPERATION, ERGONOMIC DESIGN
A user-friendly, high-visibility display* shows your data in real time or as a graphical or numerical trend. The combination of user-customizable monitoring functions and intelligent alarms facilitates workflow and allows the caregiver to focus on patient care.
