Electronically controlled and electrically driven reciprocating ventilator (E-Vent plus), with fresh gas supply compensation, does not require propellant, i.e. the ventilator does not consume any medical gases during operation (regardless of gas supply). Adaptive piston control allows optimization of gas exchange time and use of fresh gas; the volume is automatically adjusted according to the set patient category and ventilation parameters,
